Junior Service Desk Agent

You are Lola Tech’s first line of defence. You will work closely with other team members to keep the discussions open between them and the clients.

Role description

As a Service Desk Agent you will be in touch with the clients and sorting out issues based on priority.

Your job as a JUNIOR SERVICE DESK AGENT is to:

  • Keep a direct communication channel with the clients
  • Answer to alerts and calls from the clients
  • Open and manage tickets that come from client issues
  • Prioritise tickets and talk with other team members to resolve them
  • Support our local IT equipment


  • Provide exceptional consistent day-to-day support for customers
  • Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure resolution in the quickest time frame possible. Act as an escalation point for DevOps/SysOps teams
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and other IT assets
  • Own and author documentation and processes for repeatable tasks
  • Support our IT services: Google apps, Jira,etc

Job qualifications

  • Work experience: none required, any would be considered

Technical Skills

  • Ability to diagnose hardware/software problems
  • Basic familiarity with network protocols: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN
  • Basic familiarity with both wireless and wired networks.
  • Basic familiarity with printing and scanning
  • MacOS experience is a plus
